Saturday 28th February 2009 saw Exeter's first lesbian, gay, bisexual & trans History Pride.
This free, family friendly event was held in and around Gandy Street, the library and the Phoenix Arts Centre with plenty of activities for everyone. There was a great selection of stalls in the Arts Centre (including a Gay Devon stall of course!), a number of very well attended workshops and talks in the Library, displays and information plus two after parties in Vivo and Vaults.
The Vaults (formerly The Queens Vaults)is an excellent gay bar and club in central Exeter. They are open 7 days a week. Late license until 3am Friday and Saturdays!
Always popular is Karaoke on Sundays and Tuesdays.
Nice selection of food served daily from 12 till 3.30pm
Catering specifically for the Gay, Lesbian, Bi and trans Community as well as open-minded straight people, all are welcome!
Vivo offers a relaxed, attitude free, classy environment to have a quiet drink or two during the week AND a FULL ON, party til you drop Club offering the best of today’s Chart, Disco, R'n'B, Funky, Dirty House at the weekends!
Woman on Wednesday is an informal and friendly women’s group that meet weekly on, wait for it…a Wednesday!
The group are changing the venue for their Wednesday gathering, same time and day, still meeting at 8pm on Wednesdays meeting at VIVO in Fore Street, Exeter. New faces are always welcome.

X-Plore is an Exeter based youth group for young people (aged up to 25) who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender or who are unsure (LGBT/U).
